Hand auger replacement blade question

Picked up an older model Eskimo 6 " hand auger . Blue body with the usual type handle. My question is: Will Mora 6 " blade replacements fit this auger. I' rather pay a little more for a better quality blade than buy lousy Chinese blades.

Any thoughts? I'm only into this auger for $20.00 .

If its blue, it was probably a re-branded strikemaster mora. You'll need to take measurements of the blade mount and hole position so hopefully someone with the same size mora blades can confirm they will fit.

All the older Eskimo hand augers were blue. I've got 2 sitting downstairs. And no, the Mora will not fit that. Pretty popular questions. Depending on just how old it is, (they went through a change-up) it's going to be trial-and-error for a fit. You could give Eva a call at Ardisam..... I have her # if you need it.

If you have any business that takes you South, stop into KTP with the auger and we will try all the blades we have on it. Otherwise if it still has old blades on it, it would be best to look into sharpening.
