Just bought one a few weeks ago.Vista Thermal.First time I put it up was in the wind 15mph.
Have to get it laid flat first to pop the top, reaching over trying to pull that top up is no easy task.
Had to stand on the corners to get leverage to pop it up.
I like the screw downs inside the hub, nice pockets to put small things. Need to make small hooks to hang stuff inside.
Love the room in there cause I was using a smaller hunting blind.
Weighs about 30/35 lbs.

You were able to get the top to pop up on the lake in a wind by yourself ? You are my new hero. I have tried and tried to set mine up by myself and can't and this was in my shop. My son and I struggled for a good half hour in the shop and were finally able to get the top up and sides out. I have e mailed Clam but unless there is a problem with the shelter I'm afraid I have just wasted $320.00.

I know it took almost everything had to get it.I'm an Ironworker so I'm used to wrestling heavy objects.
Being cold didn't help either, very stiff,I'm hoping the more I use it the easier it will be.
Thought about lubing the connectors where the rods are held together.
Good luck,tight lines!

Try getting inside of the shelter and then pop the hubs out from the inside.

There is no way you are going to be able to access the inside and push it up. I just received an e mail from clam telling me to deploy the roof first. If I could get the damn roof to deploy I could pull the sides out and go fishing.

Yes, as with any pop up always do the roof first.  It will help if you can screw in a corner first (does the Clam have one exterior grommet?).  Of course pack up in reverse order!

I got mine for Christmas.  I went on you tube and found videos for setting it up and anchoring it down. I think the Clam website also shows similar videos. The first time, in my garage, it took me about 15 min.  I went back and reviewed the video again and my second and third times I set it up by myself in 2 min.  You have to stand on the apron while pulling up on the handle on the top.  After that it's a piece of cake.  I also found if I anchor the guide line on one side it makes it a little easier.  Overall I like it a lot and usually fish alone.  Thirty-seven lbs is a tad heavy to carry, but not bad on a sled, of course I'm an old guy.  Good luck,  Joe B.

I had a difficult time at first, but after a while, I think you become "familiar" with its workings, and you will shortly have it up in <30sec.!!!

Thank all of you for your responses. After reading all your advice and E mailing Clam customer service I called Reeds Sporting goods where I purchased it and talked to a very concerned person and also very helpful.
With his advise and the help of my on and another employee we decide to either set this thing up or die trying.
After much struggling the 3 of us managed to get the top up and one side out. After taking a good look at the results we found one corner of the at the bottom shelter the fabric was wrapped up and over the rod support a good 6 in.
It took 2 of us to remove the rod and work the fabric out to where it was suppose to be. Naturally the twist had to be at the lower door zipper which of course is now ripped. After relieving the tension from the twist I can with a little work set the unit up by myself. So thank you all again for your help and thanks to Chuck at Reeds. As far as the Clam customer service rep. I have been in the service business for over 35 years and have dealt  with many manufactures and vendors reps and I can tell when someone is blowing smoke up my HOO HOO . The end result is Reeds has a new customer and Clam doesn't.
