With this cold, I would expect most lakes to have SOME safe ice. You should always be spudding this time of year as you travel on the ice until you are sure your path and fishing area are safe. Some lakes still had large open water areas as of Monday this week. Now with the snow cover it will all look the same. Don't go alone, have all safety equipment handy and spud your way on and off the ice. Smaller shallower bodies of water should be a safer bet than large ones, but it all depends on when the locked up as to if they will be safe this weekend. Have you checked Pine and Stone? I would expect there to be some fishable ice on them by Saturday. Never trust a stranger on an Internet forum to tell you what ice is safe or not, always use your own judgement and a spud to check it for yourself. I haven't been out since Sunday on a channel so I don't have any recommendations, but there has to be lakes that are fish-able by now.
