north/south lake greene county ny

hi i was wondering if anybody has fished North or South lake recently and if so how thick the ice was there? Im looking to take my 4 year old son out this weekend as long as the ice is defintly safe hes been bugging me? Also ive never fished there so if anybody might have any recomendations as to where to fish that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was wondering myself how the ice in north lake held up with this rain. Going there for my first time as well. I will let you know what I find tomorrow after I go.

Sorry Mike did not go couldn't find any minnows. So I decided not to go. The gander in kingston said they should be restocking thursday.
