Went out on Piseco last Wed. Slept out in my portable until Sat. For the most part, beautiful weather. Caught 6 trout. Unfortunately, no keepers. The largest was only 18.5", on this 21" keeper lake. When I came off Sat. afternoon, still had 21" ice. Edges were solid. Fishing buddies woosed out & no showed. BUT, I had a great time without them! That will be my last camping out trip this year (I do this frequently). To all of the late season hole jumpers, BE SAFE!
