Have you tried it? It definitely does not cut off circulation, whatsoever. It does put you a little low which for me is perfect since I'm always adjusting my flasher or wanting to be close to the ice. I don't get up and down constantly, normally only if I have a fish.
With out any arms on the chair you would have to come along to help me out of the chair. That does not look like any bag chair I have ever seen. The half dozen bag chairs we had and sold/gave away had flimsy cloth arms on them.
REB That chair looks almost like my Ameristep with the low cross rails on the legs. The Ameristep is 100% metal including the arms that are covered with padding.
Fisherman I had the same breakage problem with a tripod chair but it was only my hand that got injured.
