Road Trip North
« on: Dec 27, 2014, 12:21 PM »
Well, looks like some cold weather is going to settle in (finally) but I still don't think we will have safe fishable ice here in SW Iowa---so I'd like to road trip north (in Iowa) next Wednesday to ice fish.
is it worth road tripping up to Blue Lake & Brown's Lake south of Sioux City area, or Blackhawk/Arrowhead Lake area?
I know I can go another hour north to IGLs but I've never fished those and I don't want to spend most time looking for fish (and I won't have ATV to get across big water..I'll be on foot) I'm just able to do a day trip for now
