Ice Report pond X

Pic shows 3 inches of white crap on top of 2 and half inches of water on top of 5 inches of mixed white ice.Left chunk is top layer and right chunk is base layer.





Second pic is showing one of many springs that feed pond so there are areas to avoid.



Third pic shows my overweight butt [200 pounds] did not break thru first layer into trapped water layer.
Keith and I will be there early.Please bring your ice picks and all your safety precautions. PM me with ?.

Great day to be out. Ice wasn't bad. Got to finally meet and fish with Manny as well as get together with Will Keith and Pete on the ice again. Will be many more times I'm sure before the season ends. Nothing big for me today just a few dink pickerel. Still was great to be walking on the water. Now lets hope for some central MA ice.
