I am looking for anyone that rents ice shantys on northern Lake Champlain around Burlighton or St.albans. I am looking to rent it for the day and night I will have 5 people with me. I am finally getting my dad back out on the ice and he wants to try a trip to Lake Champlain

Martin's General Store in Highgate.  A bit further north of where you are asking but exactly what you want.

Holiday harbor sets you up in one of the best pike spots on Champlain.  Only fished there once but 6 of us caught 70 pike, 2 huge bowfin, couple largemouth, and some big perch. Haven't fished near martin's but it should be the same species.

I've gone up to Holiday Harbor the past 3 years and have 2 trips planned this season. Bruce is awesome and has everything all in one place - bait, gear, heated shanties, and rooms. I always catch a bunch of pike and some random other fish too.

I've been going to holiday harbor for a few years now too. I'm actually heading there on the 1st for a few days. I know that bruce doesn't put the shanties out for a few more weeks once the ice is a foot or more. Once he does put them out, he charges $60 a day to rent one and gives you all the firewood you want for the woodstove. Hes got at least a dozen shanties for rent. He's got the place set up perfectly for ice fishermen, which is why I keep going back. Not to mention, there's a "beer cave" about a 1/2 mile up the road.

I am thinking about going there this year for a night or 2. even though i live just an hour and a half south of there, I would like to try a few places, Tabors and maquam bay. not much of a pike fisherman going for perch and walleye. nice to not have to drive all the way home and able to be out early the next morning. beer cave too !

Agreed.  Bruce is great and so is the HHL.  I started going there in 2001, a few years before Bruce bought it.  I've gone every year for 14 years and it's really a great setup.  These are not luxury rooms, but they have satellite TV, kitchens (if you want) and sit right on the lake.  He has made many updates to the rooms and property and it's definitely worth the trip.  I'll be there with five buddies on 2/20 for three days of fishing.
My mission is goin' fishin'.
