Big windy Snowmobiling
« on: Dec 09, 2014, 10:01 PM »
It their enough snow to drive out with my sleds? Is it safe? Don't wanna wreck my sleds. How the ice? Is their a lot of cracks.

My main question is: is it okay to drive out on Saturday with my sleds?

If you have a fan or liquid cooled with a rad and fan you should be ok,  bring some dish soap and water mixed in a bottle to lube your sliders, if you have heat ex-changers in your tunnel you will probably overheat

It will depend on where you go. The shoreline north east of Grand Beach is somewhat rough for the first couple hundred yards but OK if you go slow. Ridges mostly near the point or further out. The ice is 20-24 inches thick.
