I have use mine in -20°F weather fine. The only problem I have experienced in extreme cold is the propane loses pressure in the little green tanks. All you need to do when this happens is swap the cold tank with a warm one that was in your shack or pickup. Then it should start right up.

My Pro 4 starts first pull every time.  No issues with propane at all.

I like my propane auger alot but i have had to lean it in the truck door with a blanket over it and crank up the floor heat for a 5-10 min to warm it up in - 30 c  weather

thanks jack  I know propane dont like the cold  I realy like the idea of no gasoline  spills   smells  and the like    hanks again  i bet one of those hot hands dry chemical heaters would help it vaporize
