We decieded to go with a no electronics christmas this year. He was jealous of my buddy's jack trapslast year. So what better for a 9 year old ice addict than a cool looking set of jack traps.

If I ever get to Maine their store is on my list.

My only question is being they have about 60 different offerings, which one did you get?

Lucky boy. Do you want to adopt an older son?
Enjoy the moment.

Wow them are some expensive tip ups they must be some good quality rigs. Grew up with same looking rigs don't know who they were made by caught a lot of fish w with them. I commend you for giving them outdoor equipment instead of all this electronic crap.. Tip ups last a life time if taken care of and the memories are priceless. Never seen and iPhone deliver that.. They came in the other day and are a thing of beauty.  The neon green color actually looks really nice. I cant wait for christmas to see him open them up.
