Hey, honest question though, don't be afraid to ask.  Can't target "gamefish" till January 1st, February in some areas.  Some guys will have an incidental catch but you have to release them pronto.....  Heck, we're lucky to even be on the ice in some parts of Maine.  Especially with the warm weather this week.  Will be on the ice Friday.  If I catch a trout I'll let you know!   ;)  They'll be plenty of trout come January.  (Unfortunately I'll be in Florida for a couple weeks)  Ugh, who really likes to golf in January when there's fish to catch!   ;D
