Bring it!

Well, after a weekend spent working the Ice Force booth at an Ice show here in SD, my prayers may have been answered. The forecast for the next week has lows around -5 to -10 and highs not exceeding 20. With any luck, I'll be on some form of ice next weekend!!!  :)

Gotta love those temps for a quick season start. 12-15 inchs for some places,in the next 24 hours, now thats crazy

I just got done shoveling a 4' snow drift from the walkway coming up from the driveway to the front door. I sold my snowblower after my first winter in Boise, which I'm sort of regretting now   :-\

Sweet, you been killing me with all the waterfowl pics , now ur gonna be sending me ice pics..... Hope ur ice season goes as well as your waterfowl season, if so I'll be getting a lot of pics...

That's a beautiful view.  Here in Pennsylvania we're getting a nice cold snap and got some snow twice already.  Hopefully it'll stay and if it does we might be out on the smaller ponds as early as the day after Thanksgiving, which would be the earliest I've ever been on the ice.
