just thought I would toss this out to anyone interested in a get together....we didnt have one this fall on Myfishfinder.....so... .if anyone is at all for a get-to-gether on Sandy....we can arrange the perogy makers....sausage makers.....shinemakers ....and get the gang together for a fun gathering old-fashion style on the lake......the Green Machine can accomodate 2 easily overnight.....possibly 4 if enough advanced interest is planned....we can do breakfast...lunch and steak if planned properly.....let me know your thoughts....Grump..... .and MountainMama

OK, but from Winnipeg, it would only be about 3 hrs, right  ;)  I'm always game, so long as I can fit it into my hectic social calendar (and get approval from the social director aka Fishermom)  ::) :D 

So, how does Friday sound?  The planned trip to Cedar fell through...sigh.

What other accommodations are available i.e. a hotel? and what distance time wise, from Winnipeg?

sorry guys, not this year.  My dads doesnt really like the further away fishing trips.  But next Winter when i have my liscence and can drive on my own its fair game ;D :o

Hey Grump if winnipeg is only 3hrs from Sandy than Kleefeld is only 3 hrs and 45 mins we are only 30 to 45 mins away from Winnipeg so now I might reconsider ;D ;D.Talk to dad about it see what he thinks but still it will be the date that will make the decisision. ;D ;D

Now that my stomach's fixed, I'm in, but will probably overnight off-ice.  PP is another story though ---  That kid of mine...... He's a fishin' fool!   One proviso, though, I and PP are out of town the weekend of March 4-5.
