These , my friends , must have been dumbest fish in the Barbee chain on Monday morning since I caught them.

Nice catch baboiler!!! My buddy, who has a cottage on Kuhn, is flying home from Seattle on the 29th. Maybe we can hook up with you sometime in 06, and get some of them "stupid fish?" Nice pics. Take care, c-ya on the ice. Crappie Rob

I drove past Backwater around 10:00 a.m. today and saw 2 old guys out there. Don't know how they were doing but I thought I would let you know what I saw.

I haven't been to Backwater to ice fish this year but it's had good ice on it for awhile now. I haven't heard anyone talking about it this like normal. Don't know if that means anything or not ??

Crappie Rob -

Good luck to you out there. I haven't heard of any huge fish or huge numbers but a few good ones are being caught. We had to work for them! I'm pretty limited on my ice fishing time. Monday mornings and hit and miss on the weekends. If you happen to see a green Eskimo one man shanty with a confused looking man (because he having problems figuring out what the finned devils want) , be sure to come say hello!

Head North young man!! The edges are opening up quickly, 40 degrees and rain, not good for ice fishing. C-ya. Crappie Rob
