Price check on a Used Clam Yukon
« on: Aug 27, 2014, 10:25 AM »
Looking at a used Clam Yukon. (not a T/C)

It has runners, cover and looks used but very well taken care of.

What is a fair price?

Guy is asking $400.

I know it is not peak season yet too.

IMO, that would be a fair price in my parts once the ice is here. Now, I would walk in with 325 cash.

some where in the $350 to $400 range is a good deal on a used yukon since a new one with the cover and runners would retail around $710. so my rule of thumb is 50 to 60 percent of new is a good used price unless the house hasn't been really used that much then I would maybe go as high as 65 percent of new or 70 percent if I really am interested in the house.

I had one with runners and a cover that I sold for $350.00. I wanted to by a bigger and better one. Wish I would have kept it.
