Monday B-day outing

Up at higher elevation 1350' there still is no edge degradation. 10-14 inches of black ice and another 10 or so of lesser quality ice. We were able to drive (on tracks) right out. Surface conditions varied from great to absolutely sucky from place to place. It was my birthday and we had a great day grilling and fishing. A great birthday fish.... with a rubber worm in its stomach. Beautiful orange meat. 15 inches. We also caught 3 20+ in pickerel and a nice perch. Most likely my last trip, but I'm open minded... I've really enjoyed being on this forum with everyone, thanks for a great season of doing some fishing with all of you...even if just via ice shanty. When you're out there and I'm at work, a little bit of me is out there too! Thanks it adds to my season. Good luck to all once the ice melts...
