That's all I own - awesome tilts. Stand real high above the snow and ice & never get wind flags!

Plastic ones have adjustable drag as well.

Last year was my first year and I started out with less expensive tilts.  The sat so low in the snow that you couldn't see the flag.  I even had a couple that almost got run over by vehicles on the ice.  So it was off the Spags and I got the Heritage tilts.  They're great.  Worth every cent you pay for them.  Enjoy your new purchase.

I have always used Heritage traps, they are the best for the money.  They improved them this year, same style but now laminated and smooth edges. They kinda look like Jack Traps, but still only 18.99 at Kittery Trading Post.

I bought Jack Traps last year and have no complaints, but the new Heritage are just as good but cheaper.

If you have the time and patience to invest into icefishing, that's a very good start. You will also find that you will never have enough gear. ;) Every year that passes you will see something that you will want next year.
