tip ups

How many tip ups  :tipup: can one guy use at one time in pa.what line should I use for  :tipup: like 20lb to to 6lb leader and what kind of knot should I use to tie them toghter. ???

You can use any combination of 5 devices while ice fishing in Pa.

My tip-ups are spooled with braided black nylon line. I think 30 lb test. I use a short black steel leader tied to the line with a Palomar knot.

 Someone told me you can only use 3  :tipup: per person but thanks for the info ;D

Nope you can run 5 as long as you are not running any other poles/rods.  I used to run 20 lbs braided line made by HT, with at least and 8 inch leader and a slip weight and a circle hook.

i am useing the black braided line attached to a barrel swivel and 4 pound for the trout when i want the pickeral and pike i switch to a 6" steel leader both attached with a polomer
