Some monster pickeral in there. You can park around to the left by the office park or out in front as you come into the condo entrance. Make sure you have good Fluoro leaders. They'll cut right through the mono. I usually use 30# fluoro when fishing there.
Hard water Tight lines Flags up. Doesn't get any better than that

Where is the best location, down towards the dam? Looks like a lot of trees on google map. I heard about the picks.  Going to take the boss out the fist of the week. By the way what is the age requirement for GODS? Thanks Bill

The bulk of the pond is 6 ft or less. There is a channel that runs from the dam along the back hill with  slightly deeper water.

It's more to do with the attitude rather than the age. ;D\
I think our youngest member is 55. ;D

Grew up in Tewksbury and fished Ames as a kid.

Really, be careful what you ask for.  Do you really want to be a GOD?.  LMAO  We are the seniors of the site for the most part.  It is a motley crew.  :cookoo:

Wow....30 lb fluoro?  Never use more than 10# and have fished Ames a lot as I live in Andover.  I've had best luck where the Jigger suggested.
