Beach Pond Advice?
« on: Feb 18, 2014, 08:27 PM »
Heading out to Beach Pond tmmw for some ice fishing. We will be targeting trout/salmon, but I wouldn't mind jigging up some panfish as well.
Bringing the flasher for some support.

Any advice on how/where to target trout/salmon on this lake? What bait to use? Shiners work?

Thanks! and keep fishin'

For browns target quick breaks and major points with shiners a couple feet off bottom
For rainbows fish shallow water 3-8 feet with shiners or night crawlers right under the ice and finally for salmon fish very deep water most times deepest part of the lake with shiners 2-8 feet under the ice hope this helps!
I live for pike, bass, crappie, pickerel, and anything thats big and swims! Can't go jigging without my vex!

How'd it go?
I should’ve chosen Fishin’Mortician as my username… ;-)
