How are the conditions on the ice? Is there a road of any sort. My father wants to bring my nephew and me out for a three generation ice fishing trip. We have to drive out unless there's any good jigging closer to shore. So my second question is there any good jigging close to shore? I've only been half way across.

Sorry, but I haven't, fished Strawberry Acre's, this winter.  I know, that over near eagles point, as of Sunday.  There was only, two plowed roads, out near or after the twin islands, but on Sunday, me and my bro, were there and the snow storm that we got, was drifting across, the two plowed roads.  Limited access, for any vehicles, except maybe a track vehicle, like a snowmobile and a tracked ATV.  Good Luck.

Thanks memfree. That's too bad. I had good luck catching slammer perch at the islands in January.

Yeah sucks this year on big water. More area = more drifts from what I've seen.

My son and I are heading to 'Magog on Saturday to look for perch.  We've got a tracked ATV so we sould be able to get around pretty well.  Anybody been able to get out recently?
