Anyone been on 3/12 mile lately?

Just like the topic says. Has anyone been out in the last week or so? Planning on headed that way in the morning and any help for a starting location would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Hey toofuss, was on 3 mile last weekend. Caught fish but had to work at it. They are scattered all over deeper water and trees seemed to be we're they were at. or the old road bed that runs off the ramp there were lots of guys fishing that on the north side. I'm no expert but that's my two cents worth. Good luck

I just got back from creston and it was raining hard up there so it's going to be very sloppy  :'( and the edges are going to be weak it might be a good idea to start using ATVs from now on for 3and 12 mile

Only good thing about the edges going away is it will let fresh water under the ice and the fishing will be on fire . With colder weather on the way the fishing will be awesome  :icefish: :icefish: :clap: :clap: :thumbsup:

I was on 12-mile last thursday morning fishing the old road beds and they just plain had lockjaw. i marked plenty of fish but no takers, tried everything waxies and minnows changed jigs, rattle spoons, hali's etc.... It has pushed me to the ponds....

Unless the ponds are super deep they will be slower because there really low on oxygen
