looking to buy or sell?

 ???I was wondering? is there anyplace hereto go to if you are looking to sell gear or buy gear? i mean used things like augers or sleds    or anything ice fishing related?
 I know there is policies on this site on what to post and so on, was just wondering

It would be nice if we did have a ice sale or swap shop form so we could by sell or trade ice fishing related only items:D

i remember reading somewhere the main reason for not having a buy/sell page on iceshanty is the popups before you know it some company will have there stuff all over it and pop ups popping out at u from every direction.

plus i think it would be a real headache for the mods


what would happen if someone payed and didnt recieve they might come back iceshanty and starting b***hing.


just seems like way too much of a headache



ebay seems to have it down well although i dont  like most of the icefishing stuff thats on there

 All these reasons to me sound like a bunch of crying over nothing! I'm a member of several different websites and they all have for sale/trade sections. It's very simple- you simply state no business can post and that by buying, selling or trading you absolve the website from any wrongdoing. There should be NO REASON that this can't happen. In reguards to buying and not paying, that's mail fraud and the Feds would be more than happy to investigate!

We've been there and done that!

Didn't work, created problems too numerous to list. In the end it was decided to keep the site aimed in it's intended direction...the exchange of ice fishing information.

As the man said...E-Bay's got it down.

I totally agree. Besides, you can sell or buy just as easy by going on line to EBAY.This way no headaches for anyone , stay on top, Utes
