Howdy,

Been out once to rockport in the evening, fished 30 ft deep, west side of the lake, chartreuse grub worm, white tube jig with both meal worms and nightcrawlers. Didn't mark any fish or get any bites. I plan on going to the strawberry early tomorrow morning. Looking for some nice size trout. Anything I should try differently tomorrow? I know of jakes bay and the ladders but any info on other easily accessible spots would be greatly appreciated. I have a 4x4 truck if fishing is good where there's snow on the roads.

Thanks! Look forward to gaining and sharing knowledge with all of you!

Best advice I can give you at the berry is punch a lot of holes until you mark fish... I like chicken creek eastIn about 12-25 feet of water off of one of the points.....

Also welcome to the shanty!!!

Welcome to the shanty kill em and grill em, probably a little late but the with 3 post now you wil be able to see the Reports & conditions board here

Utah R&C Board

There is some good info in there for quite a few waterways here. What blufloyd said is good. Heard of some nice ones coming out on a bead head dropper under a cutter bug. Again welcome to the shanty

Rock port all morning in 65 FOW.   It was a quite day with no results.   ost of the bites were 40-60 foot range on various lures/jigs.   Between me and the kids we were not able to land anything.

For Strawberry, probably the easiest place to go is the Marina, and then stay in ~30 feet of water. There's fish there, and if you're not having luck, move away from people a bit.
