Decent start to the year (pic heavy)

Been a decent start to the year, here are a few pics









was a slow day for me, but still managed a couple.







Yesterday was our best day yet, icing over 25 togue thanks in part to some info i recieved from MGK last year. didnt get into any big ones yet, but we will.


traps were in the water before 6, first fish on the ice by 6:30



one of my most memorable catches  ;D

last fish of the day, 2' under the ice. caught alot of togue under the ice  ???

also been trying our luck with jigging smelts, we're getting better

8 dozen our last trip out.


Plenty of other fish caught this season so far. 90% or more of the fish have been released unharmed.

you are right, its not. its fun and addicting too. beats watching tv at night thats for sure. burned through 7 dozen of em yeserday,
time to go get some more.

i caught that perch and a 20" laker on the same jig  @)
