Took the wife and made it a date. Arrived just after 7:00 and it was 10 degrees with a breeze. The view of the reservoir in the bright moonlight was amazing. I got three poles baited and into the water before she was ready for the hut and the heater. By the time the hut was up and the heater going, we had two fish on the ice and only one line in the water. Fast bite until about 8:30 and nearly dead by 11:00. Fished till about 2:30. Caught 6, missed 10-12. Two fish on dead sticks early, four more jigging. Water is low. PM me for fish sizes and jigs. Had a great day. Maybe a picture or two later.
Had a great time. Never get tired of that sound--my wife giggling when she has a decent fish on. Best date ever.
A couple of groups came and went down by the dam. Mostly it was just us and the coyotes.
When we left after 4:00 it was 37 degrees.
Saw plenty of cutts cruising on the camera.
About 9 in. of decent ice and about 3 in. of white on top of that. You can tell it was a little sloppy recently, but solid today. You can also tell there has been a fair amount of four wheeler traffic. Thankfully, none today.
