Just overheard a c.o. talking to 1 of my shops they pulled 2 people out of ole missy, with the water being up and flowing, I would advise to give it a WK to let it settle down and freeze hard, to much good safe ice to be risking your life on the svoirs

Havent heard about that yet, hope they are ok.  Cant believe someone was bold enough to get on either one on those lakes at this point.  No way I would even try to get on them for at least another 5-6 days

I can't believe anyone would even try to go out there with the water on the rise.  The river are still going up around here that feed the reservoirs.

Looking at the corp of eng site the resi's are dropping fast and should be down by Monday/Tues time frame. Until they stop pulling water thru dam even when its down fishing tends to be poor most of the time so there's no need to rush it. Ice is breaking as it drops and causes the shore line to be bad. Last i was out there the banks were line with sheet ice and i could not even get to the water or i should say getting to the water would have been easy, getting back out would have been the hard part. I thinking the weekend of the 25th should be alright.
