brookies throught the ice

I want to find out how and where to catch brookies through the ice

Ps lets get icefishing

Kinky Lake....west of Hinton is where I usually go.

I use a horizontal teardrop (try various colors to find what works) with either maggots, meal worm, or corn on the hook. The bait really seems to depend on which lake you go to. I try to bring all 3 just in case... But, I caught a really nice male Brookie on a small, silver Len Thompson spoon with a meal worm on the treble hook.
