Fished Black Moshannon today.  Had almost 5 inches by the island and about 4 inches down lake.  Seems to be holding up well and fishing will continue on this lake.  Not the most productive lake in PA, but at least you can fish it.

That's good to hear NEZ, hope it holds up for you guys. Was only out once this year, ice was 5" to 6" and a little loose. You can bet I'll be looking for good ice once again the day after Christmas..... Can't wait.....

Hi everyone...Starting to feel like a coach that knows his teem is ready to go and the other team ( the ice ) has failed to show up once again. I know if I'm just willing to wait a while longer that it will happen. Ive a feeling that a cold front will come our way and stay for a while and I look forward to the good long fight into spring....Slab.

Whatever is left on the Oak after today should be good and hard on Thursday at least... Might drive up there myself on Thursday to check it out.....

I'm hoping we have good ice for Thursday, I can't wait to get back on the ice.  Hmmm I wonder what Santa is bringing me that I could use?

Bringing this back to the top. Anyone out today? How did the edges hold up after the rain? Last day I was out, was last Thursday on a private lake in Wayne Co. 9" to 10" of ice. I know the slab will be good, just hoping the shoreline will survive.

Heard the main cake on Shohola is good at 7"; but a big step on. Also the second launch wasn't doable. That was from a buddy on the lake this am.
