One thing I will add. When going near the shore or anywhere near cattails, you better be on the throttle as this is where most of the slush is. As well, if you have a 2 stroke, 2 inch paddle tracks aren't recommended. Sleds get hot in the bush trails due to no snow hitting your radiators which 2 inch tracks don't help. Be VERYYYYY watchful of your heat guage when going through the bush. That should be your biggest worry. Backbays and shorelines are bad for slush as they accumulate the most snow. I pulled the sleigh behind my 600 with a 1 and a half inch track. Sled is in perfect condition with reference to the engine. My heat guage was slightly below hot when I got to the end of each of the portages.
Bloomfields is gross. A 8 year old could keep it more sanitary
No trucks just sleds. Never had problems on deshambault just concerned about the bush trail? Hate to go all that way and get stopped by a big trees across the trail. I can stay home and drink or at least just go to Tobin!
