where to go in the North
« on: Jan 05, 2014, 11:36 AM »
I'm hoping to take out my 4 year old daughter this coming weekend. I just don't know where to go. I may go to Carmi as it's the closest but I really want to go where we might actually catch something and Carmi is notorious for stincky skunks. I'm thinking Lapans or Maquam close to Tabor's point. I really want her to catch a fish. I'll put some tip ups out too but mostly hali jigging.

Fished Cary out near the trestle last week.  Tons of perch, a few LM, a nice smallie and only one Pike.....about 8lb.  Love the place.
