Mountain lake?

Has anyone looked at mountain lake in great meadows ? Fish in the boat had a lot of fun

Does anyone know where to park. Can you park at the old resteruant . Is there public access.

You can park by the boat launch behind the beach area.

Caught Muskie and pickerel on tip ups there. Not many myself. The guys I know who hammer them use trout for bait. Lots of 40" plus ones, hand burners for sure. Don't do real well jigging. Small gills and perch.

40"? A few but the average is low 30"s. Be prepared to put your time in also. Can go days without a flag at times,

I couldn't tell you how many we've landed under 30" too

mostly smaller fish and every one I can think of seeing caught out of there was on the skinny side compared to other waters in NJ
