I have never fished there "legally". If you drive down stafford ave into burlington before you get to lake garda there is some riot blocks on the left side of the road, I always parked there and walked in without issue. There are a few ponds back there. There is one with access off mine rd. In bristol as well , if you park on ichabod rd. I have fished all those ponds without a problem as well.

Lake Cuomo, the one across the street from Dairy Mart on the Bris/Burl line, is owned by an association, and they will tell you to leave. Marinelli's pond is on private property, the people who live on the lake will just call the cops, $95 tickets. There is also a pond back farther that we called stump pond, I was personally escorted out of there by Burlington PD about 6 years back. Better bet is open water, no one will bother you really and it is easier to escape.
A smart person would watch the few that ventured to the ice sheet, the daring would follow in their boot prints, but the pioneers would already be heading to where they belong.

I live up the road a little ways next to the school. I have seen Burlington PD and the resident State trooper parked by cars waiting for people to come out to ticket them for trespassing. Not worth it.

Have someone drop you off.  I get around a ton of access issues that way!

You have an ice chauffeur? Big bonus points for that.

I've done it for bowhunting, would consider it for open water, but ice is a little too exposed, someone will see you, and I don't think snow camo will work.

Not saying the Dr. Will give you permission to fish it but the guy who lives up on that mountain has given permission to hunt and fish it. Was told this by the conservation officer that caught me there few yrs ago.
