I know this comes up every year but does anyone ever have luck out there? Anyone ever find the walleye in the winter time? Anything I ever see out that way is pike....

Yes it can be decent stick to the boat launch and work across to the spillway. The rest of the lake is steady with Pike.

There is airation In the lake towards the northwest before going back int that bay. Usually there is signs up warning of thin ice.

Keep hitting the old riverbed- I used to find fish consistently on that lake when those were my stomping grounds.   Many times on that lake I would start catching till 10pm.  One of the few night fisheries I ever did well with.

And I should mention I have never kept a walleye thru the ice on that lake that has ever had something in it's stomach.. not even a shrimp.  Not sure what that means…but when they are off they can be real off.
