ON your own or did you use a guide service. The reason I ask, I have a chance to go up there and don't know whether to get a guide or just wing it with my flasher and go where the huts are.

If I was going to pay for a guide I would look into Perch Patrol...check out their website and pics...unreal jumbos

When I went I used Perch Patrol. Super nice guys and they know the lake and where to fish. One of the best ice trips I have been on. Highly recomended.

We used Perch Patrol.  I would highly recommend them.  Saturday was a ground blizzard when we were there with 10 below temps and 40 MPH winds.  Our guide worked hard trying to find some active fish in really tough conditions.
