They look nice, jigga, but with the droppers being so long, I think you are going to run into trouble with it tangling with your main line.  When I make droppers, I try to keep them at about 2 inches max with a heavy line to cut down on the tangles.

The mooshead lure should draw some attention your way though.

It's not gospel, jigga, but it is what has worked for me.  For my droppers, I take off the bottom ring (where the original hook was) and tie directly to the hole in the lure with 15 to 20 lb fluorocarbon line, then I use a rapala knot to tie the jig on so it has some independent movement.  this keeps the dropper somewhat rigid while it is fluttering down and the lift-drop.  I get very few tangles with this setup (less than hali's) and, in my opinion, even the 20 lb fluoro is less visible under water than the hali-style chain.

I tend to disagree with you guys on this one. Alot of my droppers are 4" to 7" long and for the most part work good. I have never had a hali chain get tangled and I never take the hook off the main jig(why have something for them to hit with no hook) I usually make mine with kastmasters and till I run into problems I'll keep doing it. Jigga, before you take them apart try them and maybe switch those trebles to a nice little red octopus hook ;)

Are you sure you made that Moosehead beer one , because there is a company out there called Bottle Cap Lures, that makes those. Dont want to see you get hit with a lawsuit for infringement. Hope they all the lures work for you .

The Moose cap kinda reminds me of the 1962 Chevy hubcap I used to use for largemouths. LOL
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

i dont like droppers becasue they always seem to get tangled up for me i would much rather tie a small jig or fly above a heavier jig exp when fishing 20 fow or more

Good idea that you shortend up your droppers. I have made droppers with castmasts spoons and even a beer cap lure, I added a steel shot inside the beer cap for extra rattle.
They look good jigga, I think you will have good luck with them this year.

I put some small splitshots in there for weight and rattle  ;)
