Since were waiting on the ice to form, here are a few I caught just before the warm up. Thought it would be nice to post a few pics. Ice was only safe out about 40 yds (4 inches), so I could only fish a very limited area that isnt very productive. Did not catch many but atleast it was time out on the ice. Managed to get out on the 17th for the first time (and one other time). The only reason was a 100 yd area of sheft ice tucked along a point continued to freeze while the rest of the lake was windy and wide open. It did end up locking up for a few days but past that 40 yd mark I couldnt imagine it being more than an inch or two. (You can see a definitive line in the first pic with the small bass where the old ice and new ice formed.) My dog got away from me and ran out and I heard an eary sound of cracking. Thought he was going for a swim.
