Ice thickness

I have a 6 in Mora with a Craftsman c3 drill and adapter. Works great on 6 to 8 inches of ice. Question is, will it work on 14 plus inches, or will it be too much for the drill. Will i need a gas auger.

It will work, it will just reduce the amount of holes you can drill per battery. You may have to stop and pull the auger up to clear the ice shavings if the auger starts to bind.
