Got a pair of these for Christmas anyone ever use them they seem ok

I have one, the flag is a little short.  It is difficult to tell if it is up or down from a little ways away, or in snow.  I put an extension on mine.  The spool seems to freeze up a little quicker, but it works ok for me.  I normally have it set for pickerel or perch.
