Ice was 14" thick. Water clarity is much better than the last time I was there which was eleven days ago. Saw ten times as many fish but I only saw one the last time I was out.
Fished between 5' and 8' of water, 7 AM to 1 PM. Caught three trout. Each on chartreuse, pink, and pearl. 15" the biggest. Caught two pike between 8:05 AM and 8:20 AM which is
early for me. Largest 5 lbs. in 8 fow. The pressure ridge I noticed December 9th doesn't seem to be in the same spot or possibly not as prominent due to the warmer weather. Beautiful
morning. The "W" didn't start till after 11 AM but not strong enough to have to screw down the shelter. Tight lines and Happy Hollandaise!
