where are the freezing temps.... I go out side today and the snow and ice on the road are melting away..... and the week is only getting warmer not a good sign for a person like me that counts down the days till the water freezes.... im starting to think I wont get to fish two of my favorite reservoirs this year..... Deer Creek and Starvation..... come on cold lets get a week or two of below 5 all week long for the highs and lows in the -10 to -20 range..... that would make my whole year.....

Deer Creek never freezes early.  Usually about New Years.  And the weather has still been below freezing.  Hasn't been above freezing at Starvation since the 3rd of December.  What more do ya want?

fished at hyrum today  and real soft edges with ice holding steady at five to six in. And with forty degrees coming it seems like we might be beached for awhile

The last time the Heber Airport was above 32°F. was also on the 3rd of December.  It made it down to -18°.  Been averaging about 10°.  It just doesn't happen this early.  I've only been doing this ice fishing stuff for about 30 years.  I don't remember it ever before Christmas.  Usually New Years.

I guess in your 30 years of doing this you missed last year.... the coldest winter since 1962.... I fished dc and starvation before Christmas last year..... I want last year every year.....
