Last year it seemed like it took quite a while for many of the shops to get their shiners in. Does anyone know who has them and who does not yet?

Big Bear on Rt. 44 in Glocester will have shiners for first ice- probably next week.  New owner- place is great.  Not sure about Teds in Pascoag or Ocean State.

Blackstone valley outfitters in Lincoln should have some. I always go there. The owners a real nice guy and they almost always have bait. I'm gunna go pick up 4 dozen mediums fri

Dicks hobby shop on smithfield ave in Pawtucket will have bait...old dude and the shop is a mess but never really had a problem getting bait.

Hi guys,

Neil here at Quaker Lane Bait & Tackle.  Just picked up shiners and worms this week in hopes of getting some ice soon.  Still opening at 8am on the weekends until we get some good reports of ice though.  Just got some new power augers, hand augers, tilts, chisels, sounders and a bunch of other stuff to supplement what we had leftover from last winter's disappointing amount of ice we had.  Will be checking daily on the ice reports to adjust the hours, feel free to email or call anytime.
