Hummingbird 385ci charger noise
« on: Dec 09, 2013, 12:21 PM »
I plan on heading to the hard water in the morning so I pulled my Hummingbird out to charge it. Normally I charge the battery in the spring for storage but last spring I didn't. I store my batteries disconnected as well.

This morning when I attached the charger, the piece with the lights started to hum. The light was not red showing short. I had the leads on the correct battery tabs. Normally when charging the light indicates orange then green for charged.

This never made that sound or any other before. After a few minutes, less than 5 the noise stopped.

Was it just because the battery was so low or what?
