Ok PGKris I wish I had more time and I would have wet a line but I must get to town for work tonight. It was just starting to get dark. Not sure where your dad was looking but the ice looked OK. Solid 4 inches. I thought it may have more so I'm sure my other lake has 6-7 inches. I will know next week.
