Cedar vs aluminum

I'm lookin to replace panels on the exterior of my shack, is aluminum cheaper than cedar?

Aluminum is lighter but will pull all the heat out.  Cedar will keep you toasty with a few more lbs to tote.

Cedar is nice if weight isn't a major consideration.

We build our sauna's out of cedar because it does not rot. The constant temperature  extremes and humidity will destroy (rot) most woods quickly. Plus it smells good.  Steve
