That rights!  I remember hearing it was going to be couple month long.  I've never been to the Gorge to catch a burbot, but I think this will be my first.  Have fun and Good Luck guys!

I wish I was getting ready..

All these years I have never entered the Bash, yet I make the drive to fish the Gorge nearly every other weekend when the ice is on.  I just couldn't see doing a single weekend endurance race.. BUT! With this years extra long time frame,  I have been really considering entering.

Anyone need a team member??

Man, I wish I would have known you were interested ton_def. We could have hooked up back when we registered right before Halloween to save $10 a person. Do you have anyone else that wants to enter? We have a few others but they aren't going to enter until the last weekend

Hey ton_def I will ask when we check in next Friday about adding to a team. I read it somewhere that you can add team members at a later date as long as there's no more than four to a team. The only prob is these are the only times and locations to check in from the burbotbash website

OPENING DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP
 (Nov. 15th, 2013 and January 24, 2014 from 11 am to 9 pm)
 At or Near Buckboard Marina
HCR 65 Box 100  (Off Hwy 530 20 miles South of Green River, WY)
 Green River, WY  82935

And now also at the Villa Restaurant in Manila
 244 E. Hwy 43
 Manila, Utah 84046

So from what im reading is if you aren't registered and checked in at the opening Friday you have to wait till the closing weekend which screws up any fishing in between the opening and closing weekends  ???

No worries. It's kinda my fault for waiting until the last minute. I hadn't really paid it much thought until now. I probably should have figured something out sooner. I might just try for the closing weekend.  Sure wish I could have been in for the whole thing..

Good luck to you guys, musky and fishon!

I will be thinking of you guys. Have fun and watch the apple brew! With a little luck I am planning to hit Sibley lake on the Big horns Friday and Saturday. I will be sleeping on the ice. As of monday, there was 3-5". There were pics on the Wyoming thread.

We had a good time, would have been better with more burbot but you know how it is. I have a post up on the utah board with some pics of course. BB opener from shore
