looking like some of the smaller ponds around here may cap by wednesday. Only thing is the weather says a warm up starting thursday into friday.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

you wouldn't catch me standing on skim ice!!! A little early to be on it.

It will be open by the end of thursday anyway.

There are a lot of bodies of water around here that are capped. The little sioux and all creeks. The smaller lakes are as well. Too bad it won't last.

No but the water temps won't come up much either. It will only take a few days of frigid weather in a couple of weeks to freeze for good.
