Another Balmy Day at the Mile!

A little breezy today. If it was thirty degrees colder today it would have been tough. It started snowing after 8 am. and there were two fresh inches by 10 am. The wind started about that time so it's
hard to say how much snow we really got. Up to six inches and drifts on the back road to Eleven Mile and not plowed. Caught seven trout today, including my largest of the season at 22". One 16"
pike that could barely fit the sucker down its throat! The first hour of daylight has been the best lately, and the bigger trout are starting to hit more. The recent stockers are a pain and hard to avoid.

You'd have to be a local like yourself to hang out @ South Park today.  Regardless, great day fishing and it looks like it was a worthwhile trip!

Felt bad for a few young men yesterday that were fishing to the South of me. They found those stockers and plenty of them!  Can't say he was happy about it, but they weren't catching anything else so why not?

COBOY, another great post and fishing day by you. Nice fish, going up Sunday and hope to have some luck like you have had.  Been fishing in Montana the last two weeks and it was excellent.
